Welcome to this crazy world!

I hope you like simple because that’s what you’ll get here. Enough of the complicated world and all its craziness! It seems like new issues and challenges are popping up faster than we can process them. And it’s hard. But you can deal with hard without being engulfed by negativity. Accept the feelings and emotions of the craziness. You have to or they will drown you. But once you feel the feelings, be it anger or sadness or momentary fear, let it go. Realize you literally have the power of the universe behind you. You are part of a great collective that is so much stronger than you could ever imagine. I have a big imagination and I can’t even imagine it. But I can appreciate it. And I can be thankful for it. I can use that power to stop, process, regroup and move forward. And oddly enough, the best way to move forward is to just stop. Breathe. Feel. Send thoughts of thanksgiving that no matter how bad things are, there is so much more to be thankful for. Sure, some things need immediate action. If the house is on fire, don’t stop and breathe, call 911 and get the fire extinguisher. But most of the time, the house isn’t on fire it just feels like it is. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that everything was a crisis when I was young. Now I look back and think how silly I was and how much better things would have been if I had just let things work themselves out and been patient. Ah, the wisdom of age! So where does love come in and how is it the answer? First of all, love yourself. No matter the situation or what you’ve done or what you’ve always been told, love yourself. It’s the most important thing you can do. Once you’ve got that worked out, send love out to everyone. Yes, even those who are causing the situation or are doing things you just don’t understand. But you need to be absolutely sure of this. You can love without letting people do things to you or walk over you or take advantage of you. Make another choice. Walk away, change your situation, don’t give them your power, whatever it takes to change the situation. I always heard the two things that are guaranteed in life are death and taxes. I’m not so sure of that anymore but the one thing I am sure of is change. Constant motion, constant change, constant give and take, good and bad. And Love.
