Inspiration

Inspire. Literally to take in breath. Breath that is the foundation of life. You can have the form, the composition, but without breath there is no life. When there is inspiration, taking in breath, there is life. So now that you have it, what do you do with it? The modern day view of the word inspiration means to be spurred to continue, to act, to have the conviction to do more than BE. Inspiration is encouragement, the drive to take hold of a situation and go forth. Sometimes though, inspiration can be just that. To be still, to breathe. To feel the air pushing out your lungs and belly. To connect with yourself, the universe and all beings. The act of inspiration can center you, bring you back to yourself, who you are and why you are here. Or it can be nothing. Just being. Just acknowledging the life going in and out of your body. The genesis of what you call living. So breathe. Inspire. Take in the love of source, the universe, life. Recognize also the balance, the yin-yang. Expiration. Sending the breathe, energy, life and love back into the world. But that’s a story for another day.
