You Know I Love You, Right?

One of my exes used to say that tactfulness wasn’t one of my strong suits. He was referring to my bluntness I suppose. Yes, I have a way of pointing out the elephant in the room sometimes but it’s only because I love you. I try to never be rude, my grandmother wouldn’t approve of that. But when I see someone I care about not understanding something they need to know or missing the point of something or not having the information they need, I have a tendency to help them along. Ok, so some people call it bossy or other names I won’t say here. I ask questions too. About obvious things sometimes. About things I’m truly curious about that other people seem to not notice or care about. Yes Mom, I know kidnappers would return me free of charge after an hour or two of me asking questions. But that’s how you learn. If you don’t want to answer my questions, ok, I’ll go find the answers on my own somehow. Or spend hours thinking about it. Sometimes it comes to me in my sleep in the middle of the night and wakes me up. Sometimes it’s part of a dream. Sometimes I never find out. But I’ll always share the information, more often than not whether you want to know or not. Because you can never have too much information. Information is vital to life, to make decisions or to simply know. That’s one of life’s greatest joys, to simply know for no other reason than you were curious about it. Whatever it is. Because, as we all know, there’s no silly question. None. And if I find an answer, I’ll share it with you. Because I love you!
